The retreat is located in the exclusive Tamarisk area of Rancho Mirage, offering three elegantly appointed bedrooms, designed and decorated in a contemporary and South Asian style by a renowned San Francisco architectural-designer. Jasmine is a unique and sophisticated home for any discerning guest from the moment of entry into the residence. The open floor plan of the great room is rich in warm colors and patterns and perfect for gatherings, entertaining, or personal relaxation. The great room features 10 foot ceilings with oversized sliding doors, opening out to the pool terrace, focusing on the lush private surroundings of the pool and spa. This living space includes a custom sectional sofa, a self-igniting fireplace, a built-in TV and media system that is wired for sound throughout most of the residence, art lighting, and designer furnishings. The room also includes a large dining space containing a 6 foot ebony round table, which can comfortably seat eight.

The gourmet kitchen was custom designed with a blend of cherry wood and stainless steel cabinetry and counters of honed Absolute black slab granite. This material is also carried throughout the rest of the residence. The center island includes a breakfast bar, vegetable sink and a 56 bottle wine refrigerator. Additionally, the kitchen includes plenty of cabinetry storage, working areas, a Miele dishwasher, Wolf range and a 36" GE Monogram refrigerator. The refrigerator is fully equipped and stocked allowing for preparation of a casual meal to a full gourmet dinner. All major appliances have a stainless steel finish. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a sink, and high efficiency large capacity Bosch washer / dryer.

The luxurious master suite contains a king size bed, a wide screen LCD TV, DVD player, beautiful artwork, a reading chair, a desk, walk-in closet with built-in organizers with direct access to the garden and pool. An ensuite master bathroom with gorgeous travertine  tile including a rain shower, a deep soaking tub for two, custom cabinetry, slab granite counters, double sinks, and direct access to the garden. The office overlooking the Zen-inspired entry courtyard and fountain features a glass desk and full business center including a printer, fax, copier, and a high-speed cable modem internet connection. Wireless internet connection, wireless printing, and phone system is also available throughout the residence. A guest room also with south Asian influences features two twin beds and is located next to the office with sliding doors to the meditation garden. The west side of the home hosts the private guest suite with direct access to the pool and garden, featuring a queen size bed, a closet with built-in racks and drawers, an LCD TV, DVD player, and ensuite bathroom.

The tranquility of the home is best appreciated in the courtyards, tropical gardens, and pool terrace. The backyard is professionally landscaped and has a custom designed saltwater pool, as well as a spillover spa creating a relaxed carefree atmosphere. There is an outdoor living and dining area with lighting and a fire pit for cool desert evenings. The courtyard includes a BBQ area for dining al fresco. The property is walled and gated for complete privacy and security. Jasmine's mountain views from the poolside terrace are a perfect setting for meditation, personal time, or gatherings with friends and family.
