The Martin's would always host Sunday afternoon tea dances at this residence after their standing court time each Sunday at famous the Racquet Club nearby.   The white piano, which is still present in the great room, was a gift for Dean Martin in the mid 1960's specifically for entertaining.  Because of this standing Sunday afternoon entertainment by Dean, the home became known as "The Tea Dance House" to the locals and visiting celebrities.   Dean's Big Band music and the sound of the piano were heard during many seasons.
